Good morning, Twin Falls.
🚧 Accidents
The Idaho Transportation Department has identified that the deadliest hour on Idaho roads—4:00 to 5:00 Saturday afternoon when drivers rush home—has seen 94 deaths this year compared to 88 by mid-June last year, and law enforcement warn that distracted driving and other risky behaviors heighten the danger.
🎭 Culture
The Museum of Idaho will bring back guided tours of Keefer's Island in mid-July, giving visitors a rare chance to explore the off-limits island and its original log cabin near the Snake River Walk.
The tours come in partnership with Snake River Ferry + Idaho Falls Parks & Recreation and will offer a unique look at the town’s Wild West roots.
🏛️ Government
Twin Falls photographer Layton Henderson organized a humorous photoshoot with Jerome Police — the event included the fire department and props like donuts and a fishing pole, and the viral social media post shows officers embracing a fun side amid their busy duties.
