- ➤ Access to Shoshone Falls Park is open today after water flowing over the road led to a temporary closure at Shoshone Falls Grade. Times-News
- ➤ The United Way of South Central Idaho will end operations by year's end after more than 53 years of service (since 1971), with food assistance programs and other support transferred to local organizations like Everybody House in Twin Falls and expanding United Way groups. KMVT
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Today the annual Festival of Lights parade brought holiday cheer downtown as over 90 local businesses and organizations paraded down Main Avenue from Dierkes to Jerome St & hundreds watched festive floats, hot cocoa and a tree-lighting ceremony. KMVT
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Idaho Department of Fish and Game is seeking public comment on its strategic plan to protect wildlife habitat and reduce conflicts from rising local population. Residents can review the draft (available online) and submit feedback until Dec. 19 while the final plan will be released early 2026. KMVT
- ➤ Twin Falls snowplow drivers are ready to start work on Wednesday — forecast temperatures in the upper 50s may delay activation. They remain on call to clear snow when conditions meet the need. Times-News
