- ➤ The Twin Falls Warming Center opens tonight for a soft launch to let staff and volunteers prepare for colder weather ahead — the facility aims to offer needed warmth as temperatures drop. Times-News
- ➤ Local organizations distributed free winter coats on Saturday to help families stay warm as temperatures dropped. The Knights of Columbus held a 10 a.m.—2 p.m. event and gave away over 1,000 coats while the Jerome City Fire Department handed out more than 600 coats and will host another drive on December 7. KMVT
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ After months of work, a new mural was unveiled at the Minidoka County Historical Society Museum on East Baseline Road in Rupert. The artwork, created by the museum board and artist Nicole Hopkins, took 550 hours over three months and features a striking black-and-white design with the word 'Minidoka' in vivid color (symbolizing the county's history).
