- ➤ A Twin Falls hotel is collecting new and gently-used luggage for foster care children through December. General Manager Diane Ward said the drive at My Place Hotel on North Haven Drive helps children leave foster care with proper bags (suitcases, duffle bags, carry-ons, backpacks). KMVT
- ➤ Downtown Twin Falls lights up for the season as city officials finish placing Christmas decorations. The festive display features lights on trees — stars on lampposts and a nativity scene in City Park — and marks the start of the holiday season. KEZJ
BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Kimberly’s D’s Southern Bulldog Spice and Sausage Making offers handcrafted seasonings and wild game processing services by owner Dennis Tibbetts and his family; they create household, barbecue, taco and spaghetti spices while processing wild game from deer to bear. The shop uses local ingredients — pork from Twin Falls and beef from Wendell — and is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with extended hours during the holiday season. KMVT
- ➤ Wendy's, a popular fast food chain, announced it will close 200 to 300 underperforming locations in Idaho, Washington, and Utah by the end of 2025 and into 2026—customers in Twin Falls should check if their local store is low on traffic—as the final list of closures has not been released. 1310 KLIX

GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Crews have begun installing a new water main at the intersection of Kimberly Road and Locust Street while traffic is reduced to one lane on Kimberly Road and the intersection is closed. The project will take about two weeks so drivers should plan for detours—alternate routes are recommended. KMVT
- ➤ Eastbound lanes of I-84 near Twin Falls will be closed overnight between exits 173 and 182 for repairs to the Vinyard Road Overpass - officials advise drivers to follow detour signs. Times-News
