- ➤ The Twin Falls Warming Center will open on November 15 at 8:30 p.m. at 601 Shoshone St. N. and will operate until 7 a.m. nightly as winter nears Magic Valley+it is a collaboration of Valley House Homeless Shelter and Taproot Church that also needs volunteers. KMVT
- ➤ On Saturday, Harmony Kelso and her mother collected dry and canned goods at Kimberly City Park for local pantries as part of her food drive for her senior project and to help people affected by SNAP cuts from the government shutdown. She said she would hold the drive again next year—donations went to East End Providers and the Rock Creek Food Pantry—hoping to help more families in need. KMVT
- ➤ Today, the annual Feeding Our Neighbors Food Drive was held in Twin Falls and Kimberly — organized by an interfaith group including the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter-Day Saints; volunteers brought food to local pantries facing winter shortages. KMVT

- ➤ Filer Rural Fire District conducted a rare live fire training exercise Saturday morning at an abandoned building set for sale, which created a large smoke plume over the area. Fire chief Phil Roberts said the exercise let firefighters feel real heat to check their safety gear and reminded residents to test fire alarms as winter nears — a measure supporting community safety.
