- ➤ A restaurant in the Magic Valley Mall — Baked N’ Loaded — is boxing food to help local residents during the government shutdown. Owner Bailey McClaflin said 15 boxes filled with donated food for 2-3 people will be given out Monday after 2 p.m. and any unclaimed boxes will go to Idaho Angels. KMVT
- ➤ Twin Falls residents learned about the city’s architecture Saturday afternoon during a free historic walking tour along Main Street — the event, led by the Historic Preservation Commission, drew about 30 participants. City Planner Lisa Strickland said the twice-yearly tour will return in May with a focus on the Warehouse District. KMVT

- ➤ Former UK defense minister Nick Pope said that many UFO sightings in Idaho and Washington occur because wide open skies and backcountry views make unusual lights easier to spot. He noted that most reports come in between 4 p.m. and midnight and that officials now call these events unexplained aerial phenomena—UAP. KEZJ
