  • Chobani is packing 3,800 food boxes for distribution in Twin Falls and Jerome counties this week for Let's Eat Week— the effort aims to serve local residents in need.  Times-News

  • Kiddie Day (for children) at Haunted Swamp offered a gentle Halloween event that focused on smiles instead of scares. The event was one of several in the valley to give kids a fun, less spooky way to celebrate the holiday.  Times-News

  • A new locally-owned sub shop called Triple Pop Sub Shop opened in downtown Twin Falls at 430 Main Ave. S; it is owned by three friends and fathers who serve small and large subs, salads, sides, and hot subs made with bread from a local bakery and is open all week except Sunday.  1310 KLIX

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Flaggers will be placed on the westbound on-ramp at Exit 173 of the Twin Falls Interchange on Oct 22 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. as crews handle electrical work and grade the ramp shoulders + the Idaho Transportation Department advises motorists to leave early and drive at the speed limit.  KMVT
