  • Twin Falls officials warned residents about an invoice scam after a local resident received a fraudulent invoice (sent by email) demanding a large sum of money.  Times-News

EDUCATION NEWS

  • High school seniors in Twin Falls are starting their college applications early as enrollment experts urge campus visits and meetings with counselors—while the Idaho Launch program gives up to $8,000 for qualifying students—and initial applications are due Nov. 30. Twin Falls High School will host FAFSA help on Oct. 21 to 22 and a tech fair on Oct. 22, with College Application Day set for Oct. 29.  KMVT

  • Ben’s Original has voluntarily recalled several Ready Rice varieties because some batches sold at Target and Amazon may contain small stones that could cause oral or digestive injuries—customers should check batch codes on products bought through Associated Grocers, C&S, or Dot Foods between August and September and contact Customer Care for returns.  KEZJ
