- ➤ Kali, a Twin Falls K-9 from Idaho State Police, retires after eight years of service—she helped arrest 168 suspects and seized drugs, money, and firearms during 618 deployments. Kali, who served with Trooper Marrott and Trooper Howard since September 2017, will become a family pet as K-9 Cru takes over her duties. KMVT
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Health officials say Idaho has ranked among the worst for breast cancer screening — fewer than 70 percent of eligible women have received mammograms, which may be due to low access and awareness. A law passed in July now mandates yearly enhanced screening for women at higher risk. 1310 KLIX
