The College of Southern Idaho will host its Active Aging Summit on Tuesday, October 7 at the Fine Arts Auditorium from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.—the summit offers seniors over 60 practical tips to stay fit and prevent falls, and guest speaker Jenny McClendon will share her expertise.
The Jae Foundation plans to turn a 26-acre ranch just outside Twin Falls into Boot-Check Sports Ranch for youth sports + equine experiences.
Founder Jason Vickery said the facility will include a basketball arena + volleyball courts along with spaces for indoor baseball/softball and a play area and will serve as a venue for school field trips and community programs once funding is secured.
