- ➤ Fire managers will lift stage one fire restrictions this week because weather improvements mean conditions no longer meet the criteria for a fire watch. The rules covering lands north of Highway 20 will end at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday — allowing campfires and charcoal use outside designated sites while urging careful fire safety. KMVT
