- ➤ A pickup truck ran a stop sign on U.S. Highway 30 west of Twin Falls and was hit by a Jeep on Friday at 3:12 p.m.—the truck driver died while two Jeep occupants were injured and treated at a local hospital. KMVT
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ City officials in Kimberly installed new stop signs at the intersection of Polk West and Emerald North near Stricker Elementary School after a study showed speeding and safety concerns due to new housing. Chief Bunderson said enforcement will begin soon — a crosswalk is also planned. KMVT

- ➤ Blue Cross of Idaho dietitian Carly Metcalf says fruit is nature’s candy because its natural sugars are absorbed slowly, keeping blood sugar stable and providing essential nutrients and fiber.
