ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On Tuesday morning, a motorcycle crash at the intersection of Shoshone St. and 9th Ave. N left a rider seriously injured who was airlifted to a hospital, and the street reopened by noon after police investigated possible speeding—witnesses reported the incident may have involved excessive speed. CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The Twin Falls County Fair will run from August 27 through September 1 and offer rides, vendors, food, animal displays, and live shows. The fair will host a PRCA Rodeo on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday — with Josh Turner's performance on Sunday and Monster Truck Insanity Tour on Monday while pig racing makes its debut and Tater Pigs will not return. 1310 KLIX

- ➤ Twin Falls County’s new courthouse is almost complete with finishing touches expected in a couple of months and a ribbon cutting scheduled for October. The building will offer 70,000 square feet of workspace to improve security and reduce crowding compared to the current 17,000 square foot facility—delays in elevator delivery pushed back the opening. - ➤ Idaho classrooms use the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program to help students try healthy snacks by serving a variety of fresh produce — including dragon fruit — twice a week after recess.
