ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A motorcycle traveling south on Washington St. N collided with a turning car on Tuesday at 10:45 a.m.—the rider was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries while the driver received a citation for traffic violations.  KMVT

ECONOMY NEWS

  • AAA of Idaho reported that Twin Falls gas prices increased two cents to $3.49 per gallon while the state average held at $3.48, showing little change from last week. Public affairs director Matthew Conde said that crude oil prices below $70 are keeping fuel costs calm as travel remains robust — a trend that may affect future fuel stability.  KMVT

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Weather experts say La Nina will bring colder, wetter conditions to Idaho this winter +with heavy snowfall expected to begin in late November and peak in late January+. Forecasts indicate snow may continue into April +which could affect travel and outdoor plans+.  1310 KLIX

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • County officials announced that Twin Falls County employees will face higher health care costs due to rising insurer fees—officials said the new rates will take effect next month and may lower take-home benefits.  Times-News
  • Under a 2024 settlement agreement, most Idaho groundwater users were protected from curtailment—only those not in a groundwater district or not in an approved plan risked having their water shut off.  Times-News
