- ➤ Idaho State Police said a 19-year-old driver died when her silver sedan lost control and rolled into a ditch near Filer on Sunday at 3:24 p.m.—her unbelted 19-year-old passenger sustained minor injuries and authorities closed East 3700 North for two hours. KMVT

- ➤ Twin Falls School District said that federal K-12 funding frozen until now will be released next week — the district is pleased about the news — and schools plan to use the funds to support classroom programs. Times-News
