  • Firefighters are close to containing the Buckhorn Fire that spread to 346 acres south of Murtaugh Lake — over 90 personnel including the Utah Hotshot Crew worked on it and officials expect full containment by tomorrow evening.  KMVT

CRIME NEWS

  • Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office is searching for 21-year-old Malaquias Solis, wanted for obstructing, a probation violation related to driving without privileges and possession of paraphernalia, and for failing to appear on an attempted strangulation charge—he is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.  KMVT

HEALTH NEWS

  • The FDA recalled 67,000 cases of Power Stick deodorant because the products did not meet proper manufacturing standards — cGMP deviations, and shoppers in Idaho are told to throw them away or return them to retailers such as Walmart, Dollar Tree, and Amazon.  1310 KLIX
