  • Project Succeed is a local non-profit that has helped k–8 teachers and students with school supplies for three years and now faces greater need as grants have declined—this weekend it will host a 'Stuff the Bus' fundraiser at Fred Meyer in Twin Falls while accepting donations and supplies.  KMVT

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • At around 4 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters contained a 10-12 acre fire near 2600 B and 3300 North in Twin Falls with no injuries, and cleanup is expected to take three hours + the cause remains unknown + further investigation is underway.  KMVT
  • A small residential structure fire occurred Tuesday at 412 Main Avenue North in downtown Twin Falls with fire crews quickly extinguishing the blaze, removing siding—preventing further spread and noting that no one was home as the cause remains unknown.  KMVT

  • A unique restaurant in Arco with a quirky pickle-focused menu has drawn strong online buzz—locals and travelers from Treasure Valley are visiting to experience its one-of-a-kind charm.  KEZJ
  • Ford is recalling over 850,000 vehicles from 2021 to 2023 due to a fuel pump issue that may stall the engine—local drivers should contact their dealerships to confirm if their vehicle is affected. Other manufacturers, including GM, Toyota and Kia, have also issued recalls for engine problems that pose safety risks.  1310 KLIX

CRIME NEWS

  • A Kimberly man accused of shooting a couple at Old Towne Lodge last November accepted a plea deal in Twin Falls District Court on Monday—his sentencing is set for September 15 and a non-contact order will remain in effect.  KMVT
