- ➤ Twin Falls Rotary will host the 14th Annual Ice Cream Funday on July 19 at Twin Falls City Park from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.—20 local businesses partnered with Cloverleaf Creamery will craft new flavors to help fund rebuilding Frontier Park restrooms, and a contest via the station app offers free admission. ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ A new study shows that a single person in Idaho must earn $96,429 to live comfortably—much more than the current nonfamily median income of $43,770. The study used a simple 50/30/20 budget rule to add up essentials like rent, food and savings. KEZJ
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Twin Falls School District is facing a $1.6M federal funding freeze that has led to 33 staff being reassigned—five instructional coaches will remain on general funds while eight paraprofessionals assisting migrant students are cut. The district will temporarily shift funding and put new plans, including a migrant preschool program at Bickel Elementary, on hold as it works to support affected programs amid rising costs.
