- ➤ A military family day event was held at the Twin Falls National Guard Armory on Saturday to offer resource booths for families with current service members, retirees and veterans, including groups like the Red Cross and Because Kids Grieve. Children enjoyed bouncy houses, face painting and tours of military equipment. KMVT
- ➤ The Magic Valley community attended the annual parade on Saturday for Good Neighbor Days — the event featured a patriotic theme, local businesses, and the Kimberly Bulldogs as part of the second day of celebrations — showing strong local spirit. KMVT
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Rescue teams including the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office and Magic Valley Special Operations Rescue Team responded at 9:30 p.m. Saturday night when a paraglider landed 70 feet below the canyon edge near a HomeGoods parking lot—using ropes and pulleys they extracted him before he was airlifted to a hospital. - ➤ Emergency responders are on scene near Perrine Bridge as they rescue a paraglider over the canyon behind the HomeGoods store on Bridgeview Boulevard while police ask locals to steer clear of the parking lot and Canyon Rim Trail. KMVT
