Good morning, Twin Falls.
🏛️ Government
Idaho’s Health and Welfare and local nonprofits have linked 211 and FindHelpIdaho to form a new resource network that helps families with rental assistance, child care, and work clothes — the network will soon expand church support via the Idaho Care Portal.
State officials announced that Snake River water trust users will have uninterrupted water access for irrigation this summer, as Idaho Power and Gov. Little coordinated to avoid water cutoffs near Swan Falls Dam — a temporary bridge during ongoing drought conditions.
🏥 Health
Twin Falls officials recommend residents cool off at the swimming pool, splash pad, and downtown commons fountain as temperatures rise today, and they advise caution with children and pets in vehicles.
Strong swimmers may also visit Dierkes Lake for a refreshing dip.
