- ➤ The Twin Falls Police Department announced that roads around the firework show at the College of Southern Idaho will close at 9 p.m. on July 4 with detours in place and officers directing traffic until the fireworks start at 10:15 p.m. Drivers should allow extra time to reach their destinations during the event. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Officials say that community contributions helped St. Luke's Health Foundation raise $1 million for behavioral health services, and the funds will support future programs in the area. Times-News
- ➤ Residents in Twin Falls are urged to reduce foodborne illness risks at summer cookouts by washing hands, separating raw meats, and using different utensils for raw and ready-to-eat foods. Health officials recommend cooking chicken above 165, beef above 155, and fish above 145—measures that keep food out of the danger zone from 40 to 140. KMVT
