- ➤ A crash on Highway 93 on the Perrine Bridge closed the left lane and caused traffic to back up along Blue Lakes Boulevard—emergency vehicles were on scene. KMVT

- ➤ A new AutoZone store is under construction next to Swensen’s and the new Fire Station — its site at 997 Washington Street on the south side will give Twin Falls residents a closer auto parts option. KEZJ
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Karl Studer pleaded to a felony poaching charge and lost his hunting license, receiving a sentence of five years of unsupervised probation — he must complete 50 hours of community service, pay a fifty thousand dollar fine and is banned from joining any hunting activity with others. KMVT
- ➤ An Amber Alert has been issued for two teens last seen in Monteview on June 22 at 7 p.m., with the 13-year-old Allen Fischer and 15-year-old Rachelle Fischer possibly in a grey Honda sedan with Utah plates and headed to a Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints group in Mendon, Utah. - ➤ Chloe and Cavannah Hansen, known as The Branded Sisters, ride horses in competitions and share their personal trauma stories to help others heal. They founded Moose Tracks Therapy Ranch in Declo three years ago and now use equine therapy to guide clients through recovery — blending competition with care. Times-News

- ➤ Gas prices in Twin Falls have risen to $3.37 per gallon due to conflict in the Middle East—AAA Idaho said the increase is three cents from last week. Regular gasoline in Idaho has climbed to $3.38 per gallon, and the West Texas Intermediate benchmark is about $8 higher than last month. KMVT
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ College of Southern Idaho fire science students are spending six weeks this summer at five local fire departments — Twin Falls, Jerome, Burley, Rock Creek, and Buhl — to gain practical firefighting experience and earn national certifications.
