  • On Saturday, June 21, the Twin Falls Zoo will offer discounted admission of $7 for all ages at the Magic Valley Mall, open from 10 AM to 8 PM. The zoo recently launched a GoFundMe page because attendance has dropped as residents choose outdoor activities—hoping the discount day will bring more visitors.  1310 KLIX

  • Forbes reported that 16 billion login credentials have been leaked in what experts call the largest data breach ever—Idaho users are urged to update their passwords and beware of phishing links. Authorities have noted that scammers use both familiar and deceptive tactics to trick people into sharing their information.  KEZJ

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • City officials held a workshop on Wednesday at Rock Creek Park to get public feedback on plans to improve water quality and park accessibility using data collected last fall by Jacobs Engineering—residents offered ideas to reduce stormwater runoff and prevent erosion. The city will review survey responses and finalize the restoration plan by fall before beginning cleanup next spring.  KMVT

  • The City of Twin Falls will close the North Five Points intersection on Sunday, June 22 at 8 p.m. to install energy-efficient LED signal heads, and construction crews will work overnight until Monday, June 23 at 6 a.m. — flaggers will guide drivers through potential delays.  1310 KLIX

HEALTH NEWS

  • Seventeen-year-old Erik McLean—active in Canyon Ridge High School theater, sports, and guitar—struggled with depression after family losses and died by suicide; his sister Alesia said he had shared joyful moments with family just before the tragedy and a GoFundMe was set up to help with funeral expenses.  KMVT
