ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • On Thursday, Idaho Power released water from the upper Snake River and increased Shoshone Falls flow from 300 cubic feet per second to 3,000—this aims to help juvenile fish reach the ocean while visitors enjoy the surge for the next 28 days. It is a sign that the flow is back to its usual seasonal level.  KMVT

  • Residents in Twin Falls are warned by the Idaho Transportation Department about scam texts that claim REAL IDs can be expedited online. The department explained that REAL IDs must be acquired in person at a DMV office and urged residents not to click on any suspicious links.  KMVT
