  • Twin Falls residents attended Saturday morning’s Walk for Wishes Magic Valley to support Make-A-Wish Idaho; the event raised nearly $25,000 to help grant wishes for children with critical illnesses.  KMVT
  • Residents of Twin Falls gathered early Saturday for the annual Western Days Parade along Blue Lakes Boulevard, enjoying themed floats, live music, candy, and treats for children. The celebration continued at City Park with a car show, carnival rides, food vendors, and a fundraiser by Brother Speed for pediatric cancer.  KMVT

ECONOMY NEWS

  • AAA reported that on Saturday regular gas averaged $4.634 in Idaho compared to a national $4.356, showing a slight dip from earlier in the week but remaining significantly above last year's prices.  KMVT

  • Twin Falls trustees approved a reduction in force that may cut between 18.5 and 21 positions next school year as local schools face dropping enrollment + higher operational costs.  KMVT
