  • Today, In-N-Out announced that its locations in ID, UT—and WA will remove artificial coloring from strawberry shakes and pink lemonade in response to the FDA banning petroleum-based synthetic dyes; the company said the change comes amid growing health concerns and will be implemented soon.  1310 KLIX

  • Consumer Reports found nearly 150 expired sale tags in 26 Kroger-owned stores, including two Fred Meyer locations that overcharged customers—by about $1.70 per item—while the company said the mistakes were rare and due to staffing cuts.  1310 KLIX

  • On Friday, 60-year-old Sue Benedict graduated from CSI while she continued working as a nurse at St. Luke’s, joining fellow students on stage during the ceremony.  Times-News

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Hundreds gathered at Twin Falls City Hall on Saturday for the annual Magic Valley Law Enforcement Memorial—honoring over 70 officers who died in the line of duty from 1860 to 2025. Sheriff Jack Johnson gave the keynote address and the ceremony recognized current law enforcement with bagpipes playing and vehicles flashing lights outside the hall—paying tribute to their service.  KMVT
