- ➤ Operating from a 115-year-old converted garage, Dazipop Cupcakes is Filer’s only bakery on 6th Street. Owner Tracey Dalusio—who has honed her craft for 17 years—accepts custom orders and community donations to connect with locals. KMVT
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Twin Falls drivers may soon face record gas prices as global oil supplies dwindle, pushing fuel costs higher and challenging those with long commutes. Experts say the upward trend could persist through summer and winter. KEZJ
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The College of Southern Idaho esports program became a full athletic program after signing six student-athletes (drawing from Twin Falls, Middleton, Burley and Jerome). Practices begin mid-June with competitions in Marvel Rivals, Rocket League and Super Smash Brothers starting mid-August as players must maintain full-time enrollment and a 2.0 GPA. KMVT
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ A couple donated 330 acres south of Twin Falls to Magic Valley Land Trust for a nature preserve that once supported their grass-fed beef business. The trust plans to build trails for public access within the next year + motorized vehicles will remain banned. KMVT
