  • Dozens gathered downtown Saturday for the 34th annual Magic Valley Law Enforcement Memorial to honor 76 officers who gave their lives in service; the ceremony opened with the national anthem and a call to prayer, followed by remarks from Sheriff Jack Johnson and Lieutenant Governor Scott Bedke.  KMVT

CULTURE NEWS

  • Idaho will honor veterans on Memorial Day with flag displays and local events, including a fundraiser at the Warhawk Museum in Nampa where staff will expand their 40,000-sqft facility. Communities across the state will celebrate with gatherings and tributes to those who served.  KEZJ

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Twin Falls County officials report 25 noxious weeds are invasive and can harm livestock and people. The county weed bureau is spraying and offering help (including biological options) to control the spread as summer nears.  KMVT
