EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ District leaders met with state education officials during a road show to plan for next school year and noted a 5% increase in teacher pay and extra funds for reading coaches. However, no additional money was provided for utilities, curriculum, and staff costs—adding pressure on local schools—so districts will adjust their budgets accordingly. KMVT
