- ➤ Gas prices in Idaho are slowly dropping this week due to crude oil prices falling to levels not seen since February 2021—AAA said the national average is $3.16 a gallon, which is two cents higher than last week, ten cents lower than last month and nearly 50 cents cheaper than last year. Fuel demand is expected to rise as Memorial Day approaches. KMVT

- ➤ Researchers from the University of Idaho confirmed darkling beetles have reached Treasure Valley—reported at homes in Eagle and Star—though the insect is not expected to hurt crops. Homeowners are advised to keep food waste areas clean to lower the chance of these pests increasing. KEZJ
