Idaho Gives, run by the Idaho Community Foundation for 13 years, began Monday in Twin Falls with over 700 organizations joining efforts to support local nonprofits such as Orton Botanical Gardens and Culture for Change Foundation, and it runs until May 7.

A brush fire burned near 3500 North and 2000 East in Filer at 3:50 p.m. today, affecting 15 acres before crews contained it with mutual aid from nearby departments and no evacuations or injuries were reported.
