- ➤ The Twin Falls Animal Shelter is full as it houses at least 50 dogs and many more cats while more strays and surrenders are coming in due to rising pet care costs and a vet shortage—TDS Telecommunications donated $1,000 to cover fees for the first 10 adoptions and a BISSELL event will waive fees from May 1–15 to boost adoptions. ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Twin Falls emergency crews responded Thursday afternoon to two calls when injured BASE jumpers were rescued near Perrine Bridge—one jumper was reached by a boat from Centennial Park and taken to St. Luke’s Magic Valley while another was rescued by Air St. Luke’s east of the bridge in the Snake River Canyon.
