  • Today, TDS will cover adoption fees for the first 10 new pet owners in Twin Falls in honor of adopt a pet day—helping residents welcome new pets.  Times-News
  • The Twin Falls Tonight Summer Concert Series will begin on June 18 at the Downtown Commons and run for seven weeks every Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.; the event will feature local bands including The Noteables, Gene Sievers + Idaho 75, Front Porch Flavor, Mr. A, The Who Knew, Cliftonite + His Married Men and Heath Owens Band.  KMVT

  • Twin Falls City Council confirmed Matthew Hicks as the new police chief—he said he wants to do a good job for the community.  Times-News

LIFESTYLE NEWS

  • Idaho Fish & Game announced that hunters with a valid license can apply for the 2025 Fall Controlled Hunt starting May 1 and ending June 5—applications are accepted online, at license vendors and in person. Hunters may also enter the Super Hunt drawing through May 31—this drawing raised nearly $2 million last year to fund sportsmen's access programs.  KEZJ
