  • The Valley House and Two Men and a Truck have partnered to launch the Movers for Moms campaign to collect donations for mothers in need in Twin Falls—items like pantry goods and hair care products. The one-day drive will be held on May 3rd (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) at the County Fairgrounds.  KMVT

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Wildlife biologist Eric VanBeek said that as winter ends and spring starts, residents should treat every bear as if it has cubs and secure their garbage and bird feeders to limit food sources. He advises calling fish and game if a bear is seen and keeping dogs leashed while hiking to prevent dangerous encounters.  KMVT

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Several drivers reported that custom headlights are being installed incorrectly and blinding people on roads; Sergeant Ken Mencl from the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office said law enforcement will check these lights and may issue citations if needed—this problem has raised concerns among the public.  KEZJ
