- ➤ In September 2023, a 22-year-old worker from Filer was killed on a closed I-84 lane near Twin Falls when a 75-year-old California driver hit two traffic barrels and struck him as the setting sun reduced his view; officials said the driver should have slowed down to prevent the tragedy.
