Voices Against Violence served six counties in the Magic Valley last year and helped many domestic violence survivors by providing nearly 3,000 food boxes, rent and utility assistance, and mental health services.

Executive Director Noemi Juarez said the report showed more clients reaching out for help — including more men — and that the group is working on teen dating violence outreach while seeking donations as some federal grants will soon end.

The Sheriff’s Office released body camera footage from Dec.

Buhl High School recognized Levi Machado as Scholar of the Week for his strong academic work—his honor marks a clear acknowledgment of his dedication to learning.

The City of Twin Falls reopened access to Shoshone Falls after road repairs, and local experts compared it to smaller spots like Box Canyon and Pillar Falls that let visitors have a closer, hands-on experience—showing that each waterfall in southern Idaho offers a unique appeal.

The report explains that big size does not always mean more fun and adventure.

Local officials have started work on a new multi-use event center for sports and conventions — the committee noted that if such a center made financial sense, it would have been built already.
