- ➤ The Eastern Idaho State Fair will run from August 29 to September 6 and will feature a boot-stompin' concert by Dylan Scott on August 29, bull riding on August 30, a pro rodeo scheduled for September 1 to 3, and a demolition derby on September 6 — with daytime events like horse racing, livestock shows and local food stalls; organizer Brandon Bird said the nine-day event will bring family fun and celebrate 123 years of local tradition. - ➤ Today, Twin Falls law enforcement celebrates National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week to honor dispatchers who serve as a lifeline for officers and firefighters. - ➤ An ex-detective filed a lawsuit against the city and former police chief Jeff Perry alleging a hostile work environment and violations of the Idaho Human Rights Act after he resigned in August 2023—he seeks damages for emotional distress, battery, and other claims. KMVT
- ➤ The City of Twin Falls reminded residents of yard sale sign rules—yard sale signs may only be posted on private property with owner permission and must be removed within 48 hours, while signs on public property are not allowed. KMVT
