- ➤ A new hotel is under construction east of Magic Valley Mall and workers were seen on the roofing last week—Twin Falls City Councilman Chris Reid said the project will include an indoor pool, though it is not yet clear if it will be open to the public. - ➤ Wyatt Dale Johnson, a 20-year-old man standing 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 248 pounds with brown hair and green eyes, is wanted by the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office for attempted strangulation and rape—he has a bond of $100,000. KMVT
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Today, the College of Southern Idaho received $2.35 million in state funds to expand career training programs that help students get good jobs. College officials said the money may add more class space in programs like HVAC (which could lead to a small tuition bump per credit) and noted that the CSI Board of Trustees will meet on April 21 to decide any changes.
