  • The Twin Falls Animal Shelter is at 80% capacity after receiving 40 animals since Sunday — including 17 puppies from unplanned litters, director Debbie Blackwood said.  KMVT

  • Local residents in Twin Falls can fill up for under $3 at seven Treasure Valley gas stations, with the guide offering useful gas-saving tips from AAA Idaho/Oregon to help drivers save money at the pump.  1310 KLIX

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Idaho is launching a new partnership to introduce AI training in public schools. The effort partners with tech companies (Microsoft, Micron, Idaho National Laboratory, and others) to train teachers and provide AI lessons to 4,200 students while supporting Senate Bill 1227.  KMVT

HEALTH NEWS

  • Choose 2 Stay will host its second suicide prevention and mental health awareness rally this Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Five Points parking lot in Twin Falls (booths will include a sign-making station).  KMVT
  • Align 28, a Twin Falls Pilates studio owned by Misty Myler, welcomes clients of all ages; opened in January 2025, it offers group classes, private sessions, and specialty programs + including prenatal, postnatal, and Pilates for dancers.  KMVT

SPORTS NEWS

  • Twin Blades Rage N Axe competitors Jackson Woolley and Vince Prater will represent Twin Falls at the World Axe and Knife Championship in Tulsa (April 16 to 19). They qualified as top amateurs and plan to advance in the sport.  KMVT
