  • A new food truck named Blue Bear now serves Magic Valley from a fixed spot in front of Commercial Tires near Buhl, offering a daily rotating menu from bacon-wrapped brats on Monday to BBQ bacon brisket burgers on Friday—owners Greg and Becca from Jerome started the truck in January and support first responders with free meals while also serving events on weekends.  1310 KLIX
  • Wok N Grill Hotpot and BBQ is set to reopen in mid-April in Twin Falls—bringing an all you can eat dining experience to the community.  Times-News

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Filer School District is asking voters to approve a $52M bond for a new middle school—if approved, the measure will add about $769 to the average homeowner's property taxes. The bond vote will be held on May 20.  Times-News
  • Filer School District is proposing a $52 million bond on the ballot for May 20 to build a new middle school and make other improvements. Superintendent Kelli Schroeder said if approved, the bond will upgrade local school facilities.  Times-News

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Lawmakers in the Senate are reviewing House Bill 339— which passed in the House earlier this month— that would let the Secretary of State check records from state agencies and other states to keep voter rolls accurate. This move follows a recent review that removed over 140,000 voter records for inactivity, address changes, or ineligibility.  KMVT
