- ➤ Today the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office warns of a toll fee scam circulating in the Magic Valley where text messages claim to be from FasTrak — demanding instant toll payments to avoid losing license plates and incurring fines — and advises residents not to click any links or share personal information. - ➤ The Twin Falls Police Department reminds residents to take extra safety steps for spring break by locking doors and windows, closing blinds, securing vehicles, and not posting travel plans online—this advisory follows over 30 burglaries reported in Twin Falls County last year with 5 to 10 occurring during spring break. - ➤ Cirque Italia will return to the Magic Valley Mall parking lot under a big blue tent from April 25 to April 28 to host a family-friendly water circus—seven shows will be offered with tickets costing between $15 and $65. 1310 KLIX
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Nearly 90 welding students competed on Friday during the welding wars at the College of Southern Idaho—45 of them formed 15 teams to build fire pits from blueprints. Vendors outside offered prizes and let students from Northern Utah and Oregon connect with companies—adding real-world opportunities for future welders. KMVT
