- ➤ A local historic site is asking for volunteers to lead tours that will begin in a few weeks—orientation was held Saturday at the Rock Creek Station and Stricker Homesite. The site, dating to 1865 and the oldest standing building in the Magic Valley, offers daily self-guided tours and guided tours from April to October. KMVT

- ➤ Twin Falls Police warned residents that scammers are posing as the National Police Association to request donations by phone and mail—officials say residents must verify any request before sending money. KEZJ
- ➤ Twin Falls Police are investigating a shooting on March 22 on Gage Avenue in which two men were hospitalized and are asking anyone with video footage or witness information to come forward. 1310 KLIX
- ➤ Residents were warned by Twin Falls Police about a scam in which fraudsters impersonated police to solicit donations by mail and phone—allegedly using the guise of the National Police Association. The department urged people to verify any organization before sending money. 1310 KLIX
- ➤ A man was shot and injured early Saturday morning in Twin Falls and a report of shots fired in February in the same area was noted by authorities. Times-News
- ➤ A man was shot at 12:10 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Gage Avenue and April Avenue near South Hills Middle School—he was taken to a hospital and is not in critical condition while police said the same parties involved in a February 28 shooting are now investigating. KMVT
- ➤ The Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office is seeking 54-year-old Melissa Kay Jensen for allegedly violating release conditions on charges for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and setting a $175000 bond (she is 5ft 3in tall, weighs 140 lb, and has brown hair and green eyes). - ➤ Rupert Police Department introduced its newest K-9 officer Newton who is trained to detect chemicals in electronics that may hide child sexual abuse material such as the compound (TPPO) and who has been deployed on 50 cases since joining in November 2021, with his handler Travis Freeman saying his work in collaboration with Twin Falls Police recently led to a search warrant that recovered thousands of files in a case involving College of Southern Idaho Student Body President Dylan Ray who pled guilty to five counts in December 2024 and is scheduled for sentencing on July 14.
