  • BLM official Ryan Berlin explained that controlled burns for yard debris stay restricted while unplanned rangeland fires produce darker smoke and move; residents should observe from a safe distance & call 911 if emergency personnel are not on scene & follow local guidelines.  KMVT

  • Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office warns that while air temperatures rise to 82° on Friday, water remains a hazardous 51°—posing a risk of hypothermia for paddle boarders and kayakers; residents are urged to wear life jackets and stay alert to low water levels.  KMVT
