  • Idaho Dairy Queen will serve free small vanilla cones on Thursday, March 19 when customers can pick up their treat without a purchase, and those who choose a $1 dipped cone will help support St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.  KEZJ

ECONOMY NEWS

  • A Gas Buddy report from March 17 showed Twin Falls stations offered gas below state averages while Ammon’s Texaco sold regular gas for $2.94 - prices can change quickly so drivers should check current listings before filling up.  KEZJ

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Idaho lawmakers have voted to use $6 million from tobacco legal settlement funds to restore the Medicaid mental health support program (Assertive Community Treatment), though appropriating funds still depends on an additional $5.8 million from opioid settlements.  KMVT
