  • After a house fire on Fourth Avenue West Saturday morning, Twin Falls police officers turned a difficult day into a celebration by pitching in to buy toys & a cake for 7-year-old Lyam while a local Walmart provided additional supplies. Firefighters contained the blaze and ensured everyone's safety.  KMVT

  • Papa John’s is expected to close up to 300 stores this year after poor sales and a leadership change to Shaq+ Idaho customers might have to travel further for their favorite pizza as the chain restructures its locations.  1310 KLIX

CULTURE NEWS

  • St. Jerome Catholic Church will host Lent luncheons each Friday through March, giving locals a chance to share a meal and fellowship + check with the church for details.  Times-News

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Chobani welcomed six students from the College of Southern Idaho to its Scholars Program today and provided full tuition coverage through a partnership with Idaho’s LAUNCH Workforce Scholarship Program so local talent can focus on studies and secure future job opportunities.  KMVT

SPORTS NEWS

  • Children aged 4-12 raced down the Buttermilk Run last Saturday at Pomerelle Mountain Resort during its annual Kids Day competition. Competitors got multiple runs after falls, and Hailynn Reeder marked her final year with extra determination on the slopes.  KMVT
