- ➤ A slow-moving grass fire broke out near the west end of Auger Falls at about 4:40 p.m. today and was brought under control by Twin Falls Fire Department (about 2 acres were affected), with officials investigating its cause. KMVT

EDUCATION NEWS

- ➤ On Feb. 24, Cassia County School District Board chose Dr. Scott Root as the new superintendent, with his term set to start in July. Root, with 28 years of leadership experience (and deep local ties), said he looks forward to listening to the community and building on strong programs. KMVT
