- ➤ Due to a mild winter, the Twin Falls warming center served about 56 individuals compared to roughly 100 in past seasons, and it will close on Feb. 28 while still accepting donations and volunteers for next year. KMVT
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Twin Falls High School hosted a career education fair (with more than 20 booths) where students learned about career and technical programs on campus. School leaders said the event helped students explore pathways in trades and technology. KMVT
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Idaho SNAP regulations will go into effect this weekend. Starting Feb. 15, recipients cannot use benefits for candy or soda and the law—signed by Governor Brad Little last April—aims to support healthier choices + stronger families. Local News 8
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ A Kuna-based meat processor recalled nearly 23,000 lbs of ground beef produced on Jan. 14 after tests detected E. coli+ prompting food service locations in Idaho, California and Oregon to remove the products, and no illnesses have been reported. KMVT

- ➤ Breezy Johnson returned to Victor after winning a gold medal in the downhill race at the Winter Olympics and celebrated by getting engaged when longtime boyfriend Connor Watkins proposed at the base of the super-G run+ she accepted his proposal with tears of joy. Local News 8
