  • Higher Ground and Hotshot Wellness hosted a retreat in the Wood River Valley for wildland firefighters (14) from Jan. 25-30, where they enjoyed snow-based recreation and received mental health support to ease tough work days.  KMVT
  • Fire officials in Twin Falls urge residents to practice burn prevention during National Burn Awareness Week by keeping a lid handy when cooking & checking fire extinguishers at home and work. Local experts advise restaurants to clean and inspect fryers and hoods regularly to reduce cooking accident risks.  KMVT
