- ➤ The U.S. Department of Education reversed its earlier decision and continues funding a federal grant program for community schools that restored nearly $30 million to keep 60+ staff in 65 schools, including some in the Magic Valley, and supports literacy, STEM and mental health programs awarded in 2023. - ➤ St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center welcomed its first baby of the year when first-time parents McKinzee and Dixon saw baby Triticaley Jay arrive at 2:11 a.m.; the hospital gifted a special basket to honor the milestone. KMVT
- ➤ Stay Well Health Foods—a family-owned store serving Twin Falls since 1943—helps residents kick off healthy resolutions. New owner Jeanette Hanni plans to add health classes and local meats at her Fillmore south of Pole Line shop, open weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays. KMVT
